Recent Award Wins From Across the Agency
It has been an eventful awards season for Fahlgren Mortine. Just last week, we shared that we took home seven Ohio Interactive Awards, including Interactive Agency of the Year. I’m pleased to share we have even more to be proud of, including numerous PRSA PRisms (including a Best in Show), SABRE finalists and a PRSA Bronze Anvil.
Yesterday, Fahlgren Mortine took home six PRisms at the Dayton PRSA PRism Awards on behalf of McDonald’s of Miami Valley, Crown Equipment Corporation, Emerson Climate Technologies and Standard Register. Our internal communications work with Emerson Climate Technologies took home Best in Show (and is currently a Silver Anvil finalist).
We also attended the Central Ohio PRSA PRism Awards yesterday and took home a total of 32 awards, including 14 Awards of Excellence and 18 PRisms. These awards represent great work from all areas of our integrated business, from media relations to a new website, from direct mail to completely integrated campaigns and on behalf of a variety of clients, too – including Buckeye Ranch, Cardinal Health, Crown Equipment Corporation, Elmer’s, Inc., Exel, Experience Columbus, Highlights, Krazy Glue, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB, Pelotonia, Savannah College of Art and Design and West Virginia Lottery, among others.
Our very own account executive Caroline Allan received the Rising Star award for outstanding professional accomplishments and service to the Columbus community within the first three years of her career. Caroline was recognized earlier this year by PRWeek as a national finalist for Young Professional of the Year. Here’s a fun fact – Fahlgren Mortine associates have won the Central Ohio PRSA Rising Star award for 13 of the past 16 years.
We were in excellent company, having three finalists in the Holmes Report SABRE Awards. While we didn’t take home the grand prize, we are proud of the excellent work for Avery Dennison Label and Packaging Materials, the Office of TourismOhio, and Fahlgren Mortine’s internal philanthropy program.
And finally, Fahlgren Mortine’s work with the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB earned a Bronze Anvil in the media relations travel and tourism/hospitality category. This is a particularly exciting win as the Bronze Anvil is PRSA’s highest honor for outstanding public relations tactics.
That wraps up another fantastic awards season! Congratulations to all who make this outstanding work possible.
