Fahlgren Mortine in Boise Adds David Jenson; Promotes Shea Andersen

BOISE, Idaho (August 31, 2016) – Fahlgren Mortine, a national marketing and communications agency, has hired David Jenson as managing director and senior vice president of its Boise regional office.

Fahlgren Mortine in Boise supports many of the region’s key corporate and economic development businesses and organizations such as the Boise Convention and Visitors Bureau, J.R. Simplot Company, and Idaho Technology Council, among others. According to Neil Mortine, president and CEO, Fahlgren Mortine, the Boise office is a strategic location in the agency’s western expansion.

“When we entered the Boise market three years ago, we set a vision to develop relationships with the individuals, organizations and associations who believed in the power of integrated marketing and communications to meaningfully engage their stakeholders,” Mortine said. “I am pleased with our team’s achievements in a short time, which have led to additional opportunities for our business and our people throughout the region. David’s addition to our team accelerates our vision.”

Jenson most recently was a co-founder of Allan & Jenson, a marketing research and strategy consulting firm with offices in Boise and Los Angeles. His 20-year career in marketing includes stints at agencies in Boise, Salt Lake City and Dallas, supporting clients such as Albertsons, Hasbro, Hewlett-Packard, ADAMA and Verizon Wireless. From 2007 to 2012, he was the managing director of Oliver Russell in Boise. Jenson is a graduate of Brigham Young University.

“It is exciting to join a team with such a deep understanding of the local region and be equipped with the resources of a national agency on the cutting edge of marketing and communications,” Jenson said. “We’re going to work hard to build on the success our team has enjoyed thanks to their hard work and collaboration with our valued clients.”

Fahlgren Mortine is also promoting Shea Andersen to a vice president role in the agency’s Boise office. Andersen, who joined Fahlgren Mortine more than two years ago, has been instrumental to the growth of new and existing client relationships while providing valuable mentorship and career development insights to team members in the Boise office.

Jenson replaces John Curtis, who with his wife is embarking on a one-year church mission. Curtis opened the Boise office for Fahlgren Mortine in 2013.
