COLUMBUS, Ohio (December 17, 2013) – Fahlgren Mortine is pleased to announce the addition of two new associates to its Charleston, W. Va., office. The client engagement group continues to grow with two talented and experienced professionals, supporting accounts such as the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, among several others. Fahlgren Mortine is dedicated to expanding its presence in the state where it was founded more than 50 years ago.
Fahlgren Mortine welcomes the following associates to the Charleston office:
Erin Adkins, Account Executive – Erin brings a range of media relations, client services and marketing experience to the agency, and is primarily responsible for the Department of Tobacco Prevention of the West Virginia’s Department of Health and Human Resources account. Erin previously served as a media relations manager at a public relations firm. In that role, she managed several client and community leaders’ media relations and award entry opportunities, as well as ensured client visibility in their respective markets. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Coastal Carolina University.
Matthew Sutton, Account Director – Matthew’s 10 years of experience in marketing and communications in areas such as, crisis communication, media relations, government relations, research and political campaigns will enhance the agency’s capabilities. He has managed accounts in industries including, healthcare, public utilities, energy and tourism, and has provided counsel to politicians. As an account director, Matthew manages projects for various accounts, ensuring each project stays on time and within budget, and supports new business initiatives. Matthew previously served as vice president of reputation management at a communications agency, where he provided expert counsel, strategic thinking and proactive crisis communications. Originally from Charleston, W. Va., Matthew is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and West Virginia University.
