Fahlgren Mortine’s Team Grows with 15 New Associates

COLUMBUS, Ohio (November 21, 2013) – Fahlgren Mortine continues to grow its integrated marketing and communications team in the areas of client engagement, creative services and digital. The company recently added 15 associates to the agency’s Columbus office.

The following associates have joined Fahlgren Mortine:

Heather Bartman, Account Associate – Heather joins Fahlgren Mortine as a public relations account associate. She supports various accounts, including Krazy Glue, Grange Insurance and Columbus Image Collaborative through media monitoring, social media monitoring and media relations. The 2013 Top Strategic Communication graduate of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, Heather’s previous experience includes coordinating social media efforts for Ohio University’s Career and Leadership Development Center and an internship at a consumer lifestyle public relations agency in New York City. Originally from Mansfield, Ohio, Heather lives in Columbus.

Julia Bastaja, Senior Project Manager – Julia joins Fahlgren Mortine as a senior digital project manager and supports various accounts, including Mission Essential, Cooper Tires, Buckeye Ranch, School Choice Ohio and Longsight. Previously, Julia served as account supervisor, managing a number of interactive accounts, including OhioHealth, BoundTree Medical, Borden Chemical, Exel and Liebert. Julia is a graduate of Ohio University and lives in Columbus.

Erik Beckett, Senior Designer – As a senior digital designer, Erik develops concepts and designs for digital media clients, including Colfax Fluid Handling, Mission Essential, Cooper Tires, School Choice Ohio and City of Columbus. Prior to joining the agency, he was a senior e-commerce design manager at Abercrombie and Fitch. Originally from Elyria, Ohio, Erik earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Columbus College of Art and Design and lives in Newark, Ohio.

Erin Caulfield, Digital Project Manager – Erin joins Fahlgren Mortine as a digital project manager. She previously served as a sales promotion manager at WSYX ABC6 / WTTE FOX 28 with Sinclair Broadcast Group. Erin manages various digital projects and ensures compliance to each project scope and strategy brief. Originally from Solon, Ohio, Erin is a graduate of the University of Toledo and lives in Gahanna, Ohio.

Matt Fox, Vice President, Director of Digital Technology – Matt joins Fahlgren Mortine as vice president and director of digital technology. In his new role, Matt is the lead architect/developer and key point of contact for various accounts. Matt’s previous experience includes serving as technology director for two agencies. Matt is a graduate of Asbury University and lives in Marion, Ohio.

Shauna Gordon, Developer – Shauna joins Fahlgren Mortine as a digital developer, supporting various accounts by building websites and web-based applications. Shauna is a familiar face to the agency, serving as a consultant since 2012. A graduate of DeVry University, Shauna is from Tidioute, Pa. and lives in Gahanna, Ohio.

Heather Hattery, Digital Project Manager – As a digital project manager, Heather manages various digital projects and ensures compliance to each project scope and strategy brief. Heather previously served in a similar role at a global creative agency. Originally from Ottawa, Ohio, Heather is a graduate of Ohio University and lives in Dublin, Ohio.

Wes Holler, Account Associate – Wes joins Fahlgren Mortine as an advertising account associate. He supports various accounts such as the Columbus Image Collaborative, West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources and Simplot’s CravOn through account management. Wes previously served as an account management intern at the agency. Living in Marion, Ohio, Wes is a recent graduate of Capital University.

Courtenay Hollington, Account Supervisor – As an account supervisor, Courtenay manages projects for various accounts, including Kidde, Donate Life Ohio, Grange Insurance and Liebert. Courtenay previously served in a similar role at a global communications agency in New York City. In this role, she supported public relations efforts for an international healthcare company. A graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication, Courtenay lives in Columbus and is from Findlay, Ohio.

Rob LaSota, Senior Digital Developer – As a senior digital developer, Rob leads various web development projects, including projects for McDonald’s, Cooper Tires, Colfax and West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. He previously served as technology director at another Columbus agency. Rob earned a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and a master’s degree from the University of Dayton. Originally from Beavercreek, Ohio, Rob lives in Powell, Ohio.

Carrie Morris, Associate Creative Director – As an associate creative director, Carrie leads the creative efforts for higher education clients and projects. Previously, she served as creative director for Nationwide Better Health and in multiple creative leadership positions at another agency in Columbus. Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and lives in Columbus.

Amanda Rearick, Production Designer – Amanda joins Fahlgren Mortine as a production designer and supports various design projects. A recent graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design, Amanda was most recently a graphic design intern at the agency. Originally from Canton, Ohio, Amanda lives in Columbus.

Aaron Reiser, Vice President, Creative Director/UX Director – Aaron joins Fahlgren Mortine as vice president and creative director/user experience director. Aaron is responsible for driving Fahlgren Mortine’s digital experience and design capabilities, including user experience design, information architecture, interactive design and concepting. Before joining the team at Fahlgren Mortine, Aaron was the creative lead for the mobile practice of a global digital agency, where he worked on several national and international retail and CPG brands. Aaron earned a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and a master’s degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Kelsey Short, Account Executive – Kelsey joins Fahlgren Mortine as an account executive and manages various projects for McDonald’s. A graduate of Marietta College, Kelsey’s previous experience includes serving as an account coordinator with an advertising agency in Florida. Originally from Zanesville, Ohio, Kelsey lives in Columbus.

Ben Wagner, Developer – Ben joins Fahlgren Mortine as a developer, supporting various digital projects for clients such as Cooper Tires, Columbus Image Collaborative, and Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.  A graduate of Ohio University, Ben’s previous experience includes freelance and independent contract work developing web applications and various other digital projects.
